The deceased has been identified as Nurse Meline Marusho, who trained in Masvingo and was stationed in Gokwe.

According to information shared by Stanny Nyandoro, Marusho was among those involved in the accident, with reports indicating that everyone involved died at the scene.

“We are saddened to share that a fatal road accident occurred on Friday at around 11:00 a.m. Nurse Meline Marusho, who trained in Masvingo and was stationed in Gokwe was involved. It has been reported that everyone involved died at the scene,” Nyandoro said.

It is understood that they were travelling to Chivhu to attend a referees’ workshop.

“They were on their way to Chivhu to attend a referees’ workshop. May their souls rest in peace,” Nyandoro added.

Family members and relatives who know Marusho have been asked to get in touch.
