Tinotenda Hove – The newly formed political party, Freedom Fighters for Change, has launched a scathing attack on the ruling Zanu PF regime, accusing it of betraying the values of the liberation struggle.

In a strongly worded statement issued on Friday, the party said it was time Zimbabweans honored the sacrifices made by war veterans by demanding transparency, accountability, and good governance.

“Our forefathers fought for independence, we must fight for accountability,” the statement read. “Let’s unite to defend our inheritance from corruption and restore the future they sacrificed for.”

Freedom Fighters for Change, which is preparing to launch officially under the banner #WeMove, said its mission was to return dignity to the liberation cause while exposing what it called the “systematic looting of national resources” under Zanu PF misrule.
