Tinotenda Hove – Former Zimbabwe Warriors and Orlando Pirates striker, Tendai “Makolokoto” Ndoro, has died. He was reportedly found lifeless in his apartment, though further details surrounding his death are yet to be made public.
Ndoro, who rose to fame for his goal-scoring prowess, made his mark in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) with Mpumalanga Black Aces before sealing a big move to Orlando Pirates in 2015. At Pirates, he quickly established himself as a fan favorite, earning the nickname “Fire 7” for his sharp shooting and attacking flair.
On the international stage, Ndoro represented Zimbabwe with distinction, donning the Warriors jersey at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Gabon. His career also included stints in Saudi Arabia and brief spells in the domestic league.
Tributes have begun to pour in from former teammates, fans, and clubs, who remember him not only as a talented striker but also as a larger-than-life character on and off the field.
Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced in due course.
