Five Arrested in Victoria Falls for Possession of Ivory and Pangolin Scales

Tinotenda Hove – Five individuals have been arrested in Victoria Falls for illegal possession of protected wildlife products, including ivory and pangolin scales.

The suspects — Zwelibanzi Ndlovu (42), Philani Ndlovu (29), Shoti Shoko (53), Makhosini Sibanda (30), and Michael Muleya (32) — are facing two charges related to the unlawful possession of wildlife items.

Authorities recovered four kilograms of ivory and 380 pangolin scales during the arrest. Investigations are ongoing as officials continue efforts to curb wildlife trafficking in the region.
