Tinotenda Hove– Calls have intensified for the creation of stronger systems to secure the remittances and investments of Zimbabweans living abroad. The appeal was made at the ZAA Investment and Diaspora Forum held in Harare on Friday, where stakeholders stressed the government’s responsibility to protect and support the diaspora’s role in driving national development.
The event, running under the theme “Diaspora Capital: Unlocking Africa’s Human and Financial Potential”, highlighted the need for robust frameworks that ensure Zimbabweans abroad can confidently channel resources back home while contributing to long-term economic growth.
