Tinotenda Hove – Hulk Hogan, the legendary professional wrestler known for his trademark mustache, bandana, and booming charisma, has died at the age of 71, according to Florida police and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
Authorities in Clearwater, Florida, responded to an emergency call early Thursday morning reporting a cardiac arrest. Hogan was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police confirmed in a statement posted on Facebook.
Born Terry Bollea, Hogan was one of the most iconic figures in wrestling history. He headlined the very first WrestleMania in 1985 and went on to become the face of WWE for decades. Over the years, he squared off against wrestling greats such as Andre The Giant, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, The Rock, and even WWE chairman Vince McMahon.
Hogan’s impact on pop culture extended far beyond the ring, making him a household name across generations of fans.
