Tinotenda Hove -Two people are feared dead after a Toyota Vitz was involved in a road traffic accident late Wednesday night near Manyame Bridge—just metres away from the site of a recent crash that claimed 17 lives, ZBC News has reported.

An eyewitness at the scene said the vehicle was heading towards Harare when the driver reportedly lost control and veered off the road.

“The driver was speeding and appeared to lose control just before the bridge,” the witness said.

As of Wednesday night, the Zimbabwe Republic Police had not yet confirmed the incident.
