Tinotenda Hove – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed a tragic road traffic accident that claimed three lives along the Harare–Bulawayo Road on Thursday.

According to police, the crash occurred at the 342-kilometre peg when a blue Honda Fit travelling towards Harare was struck by a white Isuzu that veered into its lane.

Three passengers in the Honda Fit died instantly, while two others sustained injuries and were rushed to Mpilo Hospital for treatment. The deceased were taken to Gweru Hospital mortuary for post-mortem examinations.
