The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed a heartbreaking fire tragedy that took place at a residence in Zengeza 2, Chitungwiza, on 26/02/25.

A 73-year-old man was tragically burnt beyond recognition when a fire engulfed the house he was inside.

The fire also caused extensive damage, destroying household property and shattering window panes.

Police are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the fire.
