Tinotenda Hove – Ritzmcleish Strawbae, a popular Zimbabwean socialite whose real name is Michelle Moyo, has once again thrown social media into chaos—this time for openly backing President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 agenda.
In a bold Facebook post on Tuesday, the influencer wrote, “Tichifamba ne Vision 2030 tichitungamirirwa naBaba Vedu vaMnangagwa the Man of Progress,” signaling strong support for the controversial development plan.
Vision 2030 has been the subject of political debate, as critics claim it paves the way for extending Mnangagwa’s leadership beyond his second term, which constitutionally ends in 2028. Ritzmcleish’s declaration has added fuel to an already heated discussion about the intersection of politics and celebrity influence in Zimbabwe.
Her latest statement follows a viral video from earlier this week in which she chanted Zanu PF slogans and praised key figures in the ruling party.
“ED huchii. Special thanks to Mama Auxilia naMadzimai Lulu… You are special,” she said during the livestream, which quickly spread across multiple platforms.
Public reactions have been sharply divided. Some hailed her for showing loyalty and political courage, while others dismissed her as an opportunist seeking attention. Many questioned why a figure known for glamour and lifestyle content would suddenly wade into divisive political waters.
