Tinotenda Hove- Debutants Simba Bhora marked their maiden appearance in the CAF Champions League with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Eswatini’s Nsingizini Hotspurs in the first preliminary round, first leg clash.
The match, played at Francistown’s Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Botswana over the weekend, was decided by a historic strike from Ishmael Nyanhi, who etched his name into the club’s history books by netting Simba Bhora’s first-ever goal in the continental competition.
The Zimbabwean side now take a slender advantage into the return leg, as they look to progress further in their debut campaign on Africa’s biggest club stage.
