Norton MP Richard Tsvangirai has strongly condemned President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration for its treatment of vendors. The administration recently ordered local authorities to clear vendors from the streets, sparking widespread concern.
This move is particularly contentious given the country’s high unemployment rate, which has forced many citizens to resort to vending as a means of survival.
Tsvangirai, who is the son of the late Morgan Tsvangirai, former Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, expressed his outrage in a statement, saying, “Authoritarian regimes have no respect for human dignity!”
