Tinotenda Hove – Freedom Fighters for Change (FFC) leader Michael Makaza has called for urgent action on land reform, urging Zimbabweans to unite in the fight for land justice.
Speaking on Tuesday, Makaza declared: “Land Redistribution Now! Let’s unite for land justice! We propose downsizing large farms to accommodate more citizens, ensuring equitable land distribution.”
He strongly opposed land sales that he said only serve a privileged few. “No more land sales that benefit the few,” he said, stressing that fair land access was central to the party’s agenda.
Makaza also used the opportunity to mobilize support for the official launch of FFC, set for September 13. “Join Freedom Fighters for Change on Sept 13th for our party launch and let’s demand a fairer Zimbabwe for all. #WeMove,” he urged.
The FFC leader maintained that genuine land reform is a cornerstone for achieving social and economic justice in Zimbabwe, pledging that his party would prioritize policies that empower citizens rather than elites.
