President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has called on ZANU PF members to avoid narratives that could lead to divisions within the party.

Speaking at the Politburo meeting earlier today, Mnangagwa expressed his concern over misleading stories and divisive rhetoric that aim to create discord, emphasizing that such efforts will not be successful.

He stated that any actions of this nature must not be tolerated within the party or the broader political culture. “We must expose and reject those who engage in political grandstanding, along with those who support them,” Mnangagwa asserted.

Mnangagwa reminded party members to adhere to the values and principles of ZANU PF, both as individuals and as a collective. “We must follow the correct line of the Party, without exception,” he emphasized, urging all members to honor the leadership and the grassroots supporters who have contributed to the party’s progress.

Mnangagwa also highlighted the importance of remembering the sacrifices of the party’s fallen heroes and heroines, reinforcing the enduring qualities of loyalty, patriotism, and service to the cause. “Persistence, consistency, loyalty, patriotism, and sacrifice define our service to the Party and are the core of true comradeship and heroism,” he noted.

He also referred to the Party’s Constitution, specifically Article 3, Section 19, as a critical guideline in maintaining unity and discipline within ZANU PF. “The continued implementation of our Conference decisions, policies, and programs must reflect the party’s commitment to progressive nation-building,” he concluded.
