Tinotenda Hove – Freedom Fighters for Change leader Michael Makaza has vowed to usher in what he calls a “new era of freedom and prosperity” as his party prepares for its official launch on September 13, 2025.

In a statement released on Thursday, Makaza addressed Zimbabweans directly:

“Dear Fellow Zimbabweans, the days of oppression and silenced voices are behind us. It’s time for a new era of freedom and prosperity!”

He went on to outline the party’s core promises, which include:

• “A free Zimbabwe where every citizen can thrive”
• “Equal opportunities for all, regardless of background or circumstance”
• “Unwavering commitment to justice, fairness, and equality”
• “Quality healthcare and education for every individual”
• “Job creation, economic empowerment, and sustainable development”

Makaza assured citizens that the movement will deliver on its vision: “I assure you, we will bring about 100% change.”

He also called for unity as the new party enters Zimbabwe’s political arena: “Join us on September 13th, 2025, as we launch the Freedom Fighters for Change party. Together, let’s build a brighter future for our beloved Zimbabwe.”

The launch is set to mark the formal debut of Freedom Fighters for Change on the national stage, with Makaza positioning it as a people-centered alternative dedicated to transformation.
