Tinotenda Hove- Mutare police have opened investigations following the tragic discovery of an infant’s body dumped in a bin along Hebert Chitepo Street on September 6, 2025.

The child, believed to have been around seven to eight months old, was taken to Victoria Chitepo Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.

Police have appealed to members of the public to assist with information. “Anyone with information should report at any nearest police station,” authorities said.
