Vendors in central Harare have firmly stated that they will not leave the streets despite the government’s recent directive.

“We’re not going anywhere. Minister Garwe and Mayor Mafume will go first before we vacate the streets,” said the vendors in response to the statement made by Local Government Minister Daniel Garwe and Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume.
