Tinotenda Hove -Police in Rusape are investigating a shocking case of murder after the body of an unidentified man was discovered in the bush near Village 13, Fairfield, Mufusire area of Headlands on 19 August 2025.

Authorities confirmed that the victim’s body was found with a detached hand and bruises on the buttocks, indicating he had been brutally assaulted before his death. A homemade knife was recovered at the scene, believed to be linked to the crime.

The case has left the Fairfield community in shock, with police appealing to members of the public to assist in identifying the deceased and providing any information that could lead to the arrest of those responsible.
