Tinotenda Hove — Zimbabwean cleric Pashion Java has issued a statement confirming that he presented a birthday gift to President Emmerson Mnangagwa as the head of state marked his 83rd birthday on September 15.
Java described the occasion as a moment of great personal honour.
“It was truly an honour and privilege to celebrate your birthday with you, Your Excellency, President Dr. ED Mnangagwa,” he said.
The cleric expressed gratitude for the president’s time and hospitality.
“I am deeply grateful for the time you took to receive me and for graciously accepting my humble gift. Your warmth, humility, and leadership continue to inspire me and so many others across our great nation,” Java added.
He went on to pray for Mnangagwa’s continued health and strength.
“On this special day, I pray that God grants you many more years of good health, divine wisdom, and strength as you continue to lead Zimbabwe forward,” Java said.
Closing his message, Java expressed appreciation for the opportunity to celebrate with the president.
“Thank you once again, Your Excellency, for the opportunity to share in such a memorable occasion. Happy Birthday, and may God richly bless you,” he said.
