The end of days may be near—at least according to a controversial prophet in Zimbabwe.
Prophet Isaac Makomichi (30), a self-styled spiritual healer from Masvingo, has reportedly written a letter to the Vatican with a bold demand: $3 million in cash and Italian citizenship for himself and his family in exchange for resurrecting the late Pope for a period of 90 days.
In his letter, Makomichi claimed he possesses the supernatural ability to bring the Pope back from the dead—but with strict conditions. He insists that during the three months of temporary life, the Pope must not come into contact with anyone who has only one eye or any pregnant woman. The reason behind these unusual restrictions remains unexplained.
Makomichi made headlines in 2023 after allegedly performing a miracle in Kariba, where he reportedly walked on water for six seconds. Eyewitnesses claim to have seen the feat, but conflicting accounts emerged. A one-eyed man and a one-eyed child present at the scene denied the miracle ever happened, saying Makomichi never even stepped into the water. Despite the controversy, thousands insist they witnessed the act.
Apart from his prophetic claims, Makomichi is widely known for his “manhood enlargement herbs” and love potion prayers, which he says help women restore their marriages. Many locals have come forward with testimonies praising his work.
However, some church leaders question the source of Makomichi’s powers, suggesting they may not be divine. In his letter, the prophet urged the Pope’s relatives to contact him directly at +263777469342 but emphasized that no further details would be discussed until he receives full payment.
While some followers revere Makomichi as a true man of God, others accuse him of being a wizard who performs miracles using dark forces.
